ఓ సుమతీ! రాజులు న్యాయం తప్పి ప్రవర్తించినా, భర్త లేని స్త్రీ (విధవ) ఇంటిలో పెత్తనం చెలాయించినా, లౌక్యం తెలియని వైదిక బ్రాహ్మణుడు కరణం (గ్రామ అధికారి) పని చేపట్టినా అది చివరకు ప్రాణహాని లేదా సర్వనాశనానికి దారితీస్తుంది. ఈ మూడు పరిస్థితులు సమాజానికి, వ్యక్తికి అత్యంత ప్రమాదకరమైనవి.
