నిష్ఠ శివునియందె నిలుపవలయుఁ
గాని భస్మమందు గాడిదె పొర్లదా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

శరీరమంతా విభూతి రాసుకున్నంత మాత్రాన భక్తి కలగదు, మనసులోని నిష్ఠను దేవునిపై లగ్నం చేయాలి. బాహ్య వేషధారణలే ముఖ్యమైతే, బూడిదలో పొర్లే గాడిద కూడా యోగి అవుతుంది కదా? కాబట్టి బాహ్య ఆడంబరాల కంటే అంతరంగిక భక్తి ప్రధానం.
