గ్రామంబులు చెరువు నదులు కర్మము లింతే
తా మెందులోనఁ దిరిగిన
వేమన తోడగుచువచ్చు వెంటనె వేమా!

మనం ప్రయాణం చేసేటప్పుడు ప్రతి ఆమడ దూరానికి పశువుల మందలు, గ్రామాలు, చెరువులు, నదులు ఎలా కనిపిస్తూనే ఉంటాయో, అలాగే మన కర్మ కూడా మన వెంటే వస్తుంది. మనం ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళినా, ఏ ప్రదేశంలో ఉన్నా, మన కర్మఫలాన్ని తప్పించుకోలేము; అది నీడలా మనల్ని అనుసరిస్తుంది.

Just as a traveler inevitably encounters herds, villages, tanks, and rivers every few miles along their journey, one's Karma (fate/consequences of actions) follows them wherever they go. No matter where one wanders to escape, their past actions and destiny accompany them immediately and inescapably.
