ఆరుమతములందు అధికమైనమతము
లింగమతముకన్న లేదుగాని
లింగదారకన్న దొంగలు లేరయా!
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ!

లోకంలోని ఆరు మతాలలో శైవమతము (లింగమతము) ఎంతో గొప్పదని అంటారు. ఆ తత్త్వం గొప్పదే అయినప్పటికీ, మనసులో భక్తి లేకుండా కేవలం మెడలో లింగము ధరించి, వేషాలు వేసే వారిని మించిన మోసగాళ్లు ఈ ప్రపంచంలో లేరని వేమన భావం. బాహ్య ఆడంబరాల కంటే అంతఃశుద్ధి ముఖ్యమని దీని సారాంశం.
