Meaning
In English
By fixing one's gaze joyfully on the tip of the nose and looking inward into the heart, one attains liberation. Even if such a person is unaware of the technical stages or ranks of Yoga, this sincere internal focus alone transforms them into a true Yogi united with the Supreme Soul.
Modern relevance
This verse emphasizes the power of practical meditation and inner focus over theoretical knowledge or titles. In the modern world, where people often chase certifications, ranks ('padavulu'), or complex theories without practical application, Vemana suggests that simple, sincere practice (mindfulness and looking within) is the true path to peace and self-realization.
