ప్రతిరోజూ మూడు పూటలా (ఉదయం, మధ్యాహ్నం, సాయంత్రం) అత్యంత సంతోషంతో శివుని తన ఆత్మలో నిలుపుకొని పూజించేవాడే నిజమైన పుణ్యాత్ముడు. అటువంటి భక్తిపూర్వకమైన పూజ లేకుండా మానవునికి మోక్షం అనే పరమానందం దొరకదు.
