బొత్తున జనియించి పొట్టుపోయినభంగి
వేత్తయగువానికర్మం
బత్తెఱగున విడిచిపోవు ననువున వేమా!

భావం · Meaning
విత్తనము మరియు పొట్టు భూమిలో కలిసి పుట్టినప్పటికీ, మొక్క ఎదిగే క్రమంలో పొట్టు రాలిపోతుంది. అదే విధంగా, ఆత్మజ్ఞాని (వేత్త) అయిన వానికి అంటిపెట్టుకుని ఉన్న కర్మలు కూడా జ్ఞానోదయం కలిగిన తరువాత వాటంతట అవే తొలగిపోతాయి.
In English
Just as a seed and its husk sprout together from the earth but the husk eventually falls away as the plant grows, the karma attached to a wise man (Knower) may exist initially but will naturally depart upon the attainment of true wisdom. The realization of truth sheds the burden of past actions.

In modern life, this verse reminds us that our past conditioning and burdens (karma) are not permanent. By cultivating wisdom and self-awareness (becoming a 'Vetta'), we can naturally shed negative habits, anxieties, and the weight of the past, just as a growing seed sheds its unnecessary husk. Growth requires the letting go of what once protected or covered us but no longer serves our higher purpose.
