చచ్చుదాఁకమోయు చాపగుడిసె
భాగవతులపట్టు పట్టంగ నోపఁడు
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

నీచుడైన మానవుడు అల్పమైన సుఖాలకు లేదా చెడు సావాసాలకు (గారడి స్త్రీ పొందు) బానిసలై, జీవితాంతం ఆ నికృష్టమైన సంసార భారాన్ని (చాపగుడిసెను) మోస్తూనే ఉంటాడు. అటువంటి వాడు సజ్జనులైన భగవద్భక్తుల సాంగత్యాన్ని, వారి విలువైన మార్గాన్ని ఎప్పటికీ గ్రహించలేడు.

A wicked or foolish person, addicted to low-class pleasures or bad company (symbolized by the juggler woman), spends his entire life carrying the burden of that lowly existence (the mat hut). Consumed by these attachments, he remains incapable of recognizing or embracing the uplifting company of spiritual devotees.
