శిలలఁ జూచి నరులు శివుఁడని మెత్తురు
శిలలు శిలలె కాని శివుఁడుగాఁడు
తనదులోని శివునిఁ దా నేల తెలియఁడో
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

భావం · Meaning
మనుషులు రాతి విగ్రహాలను చూసి అవే దేవుడని భ్రమపడి పూజిస్తుంటారు. కానీ ఆ రాళ్లు రాళ్లే తప్ప దేవుడు కావు. నిజమైన దేవుడు (శివుడు) తనలోనే అంతరాత్మగా ఉన్నాడని తెలుసుకోలేకపోవడం అజ్ఞానం.
