దాఁగియున్న వానిఁ దానేల యెఱుఁగఁడో

సిగ్గు, ఆకలి వంటి భావనలు కంటికి కనిపించకపోయినా, అవి ఉన్నాయని మనం నమ్ముతాము మరియు అనుభవిస్తాము. అదే విధంగా, మన శరీరంలోనే అంతరాత్మ (దేవుడు) దాగి ఉన్నాడు. కనిపించని ఆకలిని గుర్తించే మనిషి, తనలోనే దాగి ఉన్న దైవాన్ని ఎందుకు గుర్తించలేకపోతున్నాడని వేమన ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నాడు.
In English
People readily acknowledge sensations like shame and hunger, even though they are invisible and have no physical form. Similarly, the Divine Spirit resides hidden within the human body. The verse questions the irony of human nature: why do we accept invisible physical urges but fail to recognize the invisible God dwelling within us?
