భావం · Meaning
చీకటిలో పోగొట్టుకున్న వస్తువు దొరికేంతవరకే దీపం అవసరం; ఆ వస్తువు దొరికిన తర్వాత దీపంతో పనిలేదు. అలాగే, ఈ శరీరం ద్వారా దైవత్వాన్ని (ఆత్మజ్ఞానాన్ని) తెలుసుకునేంతవరకే శరీరంపై మమకారం ఉంటుంది. ఒక్కసారి దైవత్వాన్ని సాధించిన తర్వాత ఈ భౌతిక శరీరంపై వ్యామోహం అనవసరం.
In English
Just as a lamp is indispensable only until a lost object is found in the dark, and becomes unnecessary afterwards, the physical body is a vessel required only until one realizes the Divine. Once God-realization is attained, the attachment to the physical body serves no further purpose.

In modern life, we often become obsessed with tools like money, status, or physical appearance (the lamp), forgetting that they are merely instruments to achieve higher goals like happiness, peace, or self-realization (the lost valuable). We must learn to let go of our attachment to material things once their purpose is served.
