యజ్ఞయాగాదుల పేరుతో సోమరసాన్ని కుండల కొద్దీ త్రాగడం వల్ల ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి? అది తమకు మేలు చేస్తుందని భ్రమపడటమే తప్ప, నిజానికి ఆ యజ్ఞఫలితం కేవలం ఆ రసం గొంతు దిగడం వరకే పరిమితం. అనగా, బాహ్యమైన ఆచారాల వల్ల, మత్తు పానీయాల వల్ల మోక్షం రాదు, అది కేవలం శారీరక తృప్తి మాత్రమేనని భావం.
