ఈ లోకంలో బ్రతుకుతున్నప్పుడు ఎన్ని కష్టనష్టాలనైనా భరించవచ్చు, అవి శరీరానికి సంబంధించినవి మాత్రమే. కానీ మరణానంతరం యమధర్మరాజు విధించే నరక బాధలు తప్పించుకునేలా జీవించడం ముఖ్యం. అందుకు ఏకైక మార్గం ఇతరులను హింసించకుండా, ఎవరికీ బాధ కలిగించకుండా పుణ్యమార్గంలో బ్రతకడమేనని వేమన హితవు పలుకుతున్నాడు.
