వాఁడు చెఱచువానివంశమెల్ల
చెఱకువెన్ను పుట్టి చెఱపదా తీపెల్ల

చెరకు గడకు వెన్ను (పువ్వు) పుట్టినప్పుడు ఆ గడలోని తీపి అంతా ఎలా నశించిపోతుందో, అలాగే ఉత్తముడైన వానికి దుర్మార్గుడైన కొడుకు పుడితే ఆ వంశం యొక్క కీర్తి ప్రతిష్టలన్నీ నాశనమైపోతాయి. ఒక్క చెడ్డవాడు చాలు మొత్తం వంశాన్ని చెడగొట్టడానికి.
