భావం · Meaning
ప్రజలు మడి, ఆచారం పేరుతో 'ఎంగిలి' (లాలాజలం తగిలినది) అని ప్రతిదానిని అసహ్యించుకుంటారు. కానీ పరమ పవిత్రమైన వేద మంత్రాలు కూడా నోటితో పలికితేనే బయటకు వస్తాయి, అంటే అవి కూడా ఎంగిలి అవుతాయి. సాక్షాత్తు బ్రహ్మదేవుడైనా నోరు వాడకుండా మాట్లాడలేడు. కాబట్టి నోటితో మాట్లాడుతూనే 'ఎంగిలి' అని అసహ్యించుకోవడం అవివేకం అని వేమన భావం.
