సత్యమింతలేక జారవిడచు
సత్యముకలిగున్న జగతిలో ద్విజుడగున్
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ!

ఎన్ని మతాలు ఉన్నా, ఎన్ని మంత్రాలు చదివినా, వాటిలో సత్యం లేకపోతే అవి వ్యర్థము. కులము చేత కాక, కేవలం సత్యమును పాటించువాడే ఈ లోకంలో నిజమైన ద్విజుడు (ఉత్తముడు) అని వేమన భావము.
