ఎసఁగువేత్త యనుచు నెఱుగరే యీనరుల్
వేయిమార్గములను వేలు పజుఁడు
అవని సృష్టికర్త యంతకు గురుఁ డెన్న
నతనికి తలయేది యరయ వేమా!

భావం · Meaning
ప్రజలు బ్రహ్మను గొప్ప జ్ఞాని అని, సృష్టికర్త అని, జగద్గురువు అని అనేక విధాలుగా స్తుతిస్తారు. కానీ పురాణాల ప్రకారం ఆ బ్రహ్మదేవుడి ఐదవ తలను శివుడు ఖండించాడు. సృష్టికర్త అయినప్పటికీ అతనికి కూడా లోపం (తల లేకపోవడం) తప్పలేదు. కాబట్టి పదవులు, బిరుదులు శాశ్వతం కాదని, దైవ నిర్ణయం లేదా కర్మ ఎవరినీ వదలదని భావం.

People praise Brahma as the great knower, the creator of the world, and the universal teacher in a thousand ways. However, Vemana points out the irony that even this supreme creator lost one of his heads (cut off by Shiva due to arrogance).
