బుట్టువేళ నరుఁడు గిట్టువేళ
ధనము లెచటి కేఁగు దానేగు నెచటికి
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

మానవుడు పుట్టినప్పుడు వెంట ఏమీ తీసుకురాడు, చనిపోయేటప్పుడు ఏమీ తీసుకుపోలేడు. మధ్యలో సంపాదించిన ధనము ఎక్కడికి పోతుందో, చనిపోయాక జీవుడు ఎక్కడికి పోతాడో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. కనుక శాశ్వతం కాని సంపదలపై వ్యామోహం వదిలిపెట్టాలి.
