దానగుణములేక దాతయౌనె
యెనుము గొప్పదైన యేనుగున్ బోలునా?
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ!

కేవలం భారీ శరీరం, పొడవైన గడ్డం ఉన్నంత మాత్రాన ఎవరూ గొప్పవారు కాలేరు; వారిలో దానగుణం ఉండాలి. ఆకారంలో ఎనుము (బర్రె) ఎంత పెద్దదైనా, అది గంభీరమైన ఏనుగుతో ఎప్పటికీ సరితూగదు. అలాగే బాహ్య ఆడంబరాలు మనిషికి విలువనివ్వవు, సద్గుణమే ముఖ్యం.
