నొడయుఁడైన ముక్తిఁ బడయలేఁడు
తడకబిఱ్ఱుపెట్టఁ దలపుతో సరియౌనె
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

Merely smearing ash on the body and wearing matted hair like a sage does not guarantee salvation, even for a master. Just as a bamboo screen, no matter how tightly fastened, cannot equal the strength and security of a proper door, external appearances and disguises cannot replace true inner purity and spiritual realization.
