కామమునను కడఁగి గౌరిఁ గూడె
నట్టి శివుని తేజ మంటినంతనె చూడ
పూర్వకర్మ ఫలము పోవు వేమ!

భావం · Meaning
శివుడు తన మూడవ నేత్రంతో మన్మథుని దహించి, తిరిగి ఆ మన్మథుని ప్రేరణతోనే (కామముతోనే) గౌరీదేవిని వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు. విరుద్ధమైన గుణములు కలిగిన అటువంటి శివుని దివ్య తేజస్సు (అనుగ్రహం) మనల్ని స్పృశించినంతనే మన పూర్వజన్మ కర్మఫలాలన్నీ నశించిపోతాయి.
