Meaning

In English

Just as a person who has drunk divine nectar to their fill has no desire for lesser drinks, one who has realized the Ultimate Truth (Tattva) no longer craves worldly pleasures or lust (symbolized here by women). The higher bliss of spiritual wisdom naturally eliminates the thirst for transient physical gratifications.

Modern relevance

This verse emphasizes the concept of 'Higher Taste' (Param Drishtva Nivartate). In a modern context, it suggests that when an individual finds a higher purpose, deep intellectual satisfaction, or a fulfilling passion, they naturally lose interest in trivial distractions, superficial addictions, or base desires. True fulfillment comes from within (understanding reality), not from external sensory pursuits.
