తత్వమేల దన్ను దగులుకొనును
నూనెలేక దివ్వె నువ్వులమండునా

భావం · Meaning
నువ్వులలో నూనె ఉన్నప్పటికీ, ఆ నూనెను వేరుచేయకుండా కేవలం నువ్వులతో దీపం వెలిగించలేము. అలాగే, కర్మకాండలలో చిక్కుకుని వాటి సారాంశమైన జ్ఞానాన్ని గ్రహించకపోతే, మనిషికి పరమార్థం (తత్వం) బోధపడదు. కర్మ బంధాలను వదిలిపెట్టి జ్ఞానాన్ని పొందినప్పుడే మోక్షం లభిస్తుంది.

Just as a lamp cannot burn using raw sesame seeds alone—requiring the oil to be extracted first—one cannot attain the Ultimate Truth (Tatva) merely by holding onto rituals (Karma). One must extract the essence of wisdom from action and discard the attachment to the rituals themselves to find enlightenment.
