చేతిలో వెన్న ముద్దను పెట్టుకొని, నెయ్యి కోసం ఎక్కడెక్కడో వెతకడం ఎంత అవివేకమో, తనలోనే (లేదా తన చేతిలోనే) దైవమును ఉంచుకొని పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలకు తిరగడం కూడా అంతే అవివేకం. వెన్నను కాస్తే నెయ్యి వచ్చినట్లే, అంతర్ముఖుడై చూస్తే దైవం కనిపిస్తాడు.

Vemana compares the search for God in external pilgrimages to someone holding butter in their hand but searching everywhere for ghee.
