బాపహేతువుండి చచ్చెనేని
మనసు కాశిఁజేరు మఱి ముక్తి లేదురా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

కాశీ క్షేత్రానికి వెళ్ళినంత మాత్రాన పుణ్యం రాదు. మనసులో పాపపు ఆలోచనలు (పాప హేతువు) పెట్టుకుని కాశీలో చనిపోయినా మోక్షం లభించదు. మనసు పవిత్రంగా లేనిదే కేవలం పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలను దర్శించినంత మాత్రాన ముక్తి దొరకదు అని భావం.

Simply traveling to the holy city of Kasi (Varanasi) does not guarantee salvation. Even if one dies in Kasi, if the root of sin (evil thoughts and desires) remains in the mind, there is no liberation (Mukti). True salvation comes from inner purity, not just from visiting holy places.
