తోలుబొమ్మలాటలో తోలుతో చేసిన బొమ్మను ఆడించేవాడు తెర వెనుక ఉంటాడు. అలాగే, ఈ మానవ శరీరం కుక్క తోలు వంటి అల్పమైన పదార్థంతో చేయబడిన ఒక బొమ్మ వంటిది. భగవంతుడు (సూత్రధారి) దీనిని కొంతకాలం ఆడించి, ఆపై పడవేస్తాడు. కానీ మనిషి తనను నడిపించే ఆ భగవంతుని గుర్తించలేకపోవడం విచారకరం.
In English
The verse employs the metaphor of leather puppetry to explain human existence. The Creator fashions the human body out of base material (likened to dog's skin), paints it to look attractive (red doll), makes it dance through life, and eventually casts it aside.
