కూటవాసి యగుచు గుణములఁ బచరించి
నీటనీడవలెను నిలిచియుండు
నుదకఘటములందు నొగిఁదోఁచుటే గాని
సూర్యుఁడొకఁడు గాఁడె చూడ వేమ!

అనేక కుండలలో నింపిన నీటిలో సూర్యుని ప్రతిబింబాలు వేర్వేరుగా కనిపించినప్పటికీ, ఆకాశంలోని సూర్యుడు ఒక్కడే. అలాగే, పరమాత్మ (కూటస్థుడు) సృష్టిలోని సకల జీవరాశులలో (శరీరములలో) గుణములను ఆశ్రయించి వేర్వేరుగా కనిపిస్తున్నప్పటికీ, నిజానికి అతడు ఒక్కడే మరియు నిర్లిప్తుడు.
In English
Just as the single Sun appears as multiple reflections in different pots of water, the one Supreme Soul (God) appears to dwell in various bodies with different qualities. However, like the Sun who remains unaffected by the reflections, the Soul remains one, immutable, and detached from the attributes of the bodies it inhabits.
