కన్నవారికంటె ఘనులు లేరు
ఎన్న గురునికన్న నెక్కువలేదయా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ!

ప్రపంచంలో ఎన్ని రకాల దానాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఆకలి తీర్చే అన్నదానమే అన్నిటికన్నా గొప్పది. అలాగే మనకు జన్మనిచ్చిన తల్లిదండ్రులకంటే గొప్పవారు ఎవరూ లేరు. జ్ఞానాన్ని ప్రసాదించే గురువుకంటే మించిన దైవం లేదని గ్రహించాలి.

Among all forms of charity, feeding the hungry (Annadanam) is supreme because it sustains life. Similarly, no one is superior to one's parents who gave that life. Finally, upon reflection, nothing holds a higher status than the Guru who imparts wisdom and awareness.
