మరణానంతరం శరీరంలోని పంచభూతాలు (గాలి, ఆకాశం, మట్టి, అగ్ని, నీరు) తిరిగి వాటి మూలాల్లో కలిసిపోతాయి. కుండ పగిలితే లోపలి ఆకాశం బయటి ఆకాశంలో కలిసినట్లు, దేహ విముక్తి పొందిన జీవుడు మలినాలు తొలగి పరమాత్మలో ఐక్యమై నిర్మలంగా మారుతాడు. ఈ పద్యం దేహం అశాశ్వతమని, ఆత్మ నిత్యమని, మోక్షమే పరమ లక్ష్యమని బోధిస్తుంది.
