వరశిష్యుడు వత్సమగుచు వర్తింపగా
దరిగలిగిన నప్పుడొసగును
నిరుపమ లక్ష్యామృతంబు నిజముగవేమా!

గురువును ఆవుతోను, శిష్యుని దూడతోను పోల్చవచ్చు. దూడ ఆవు దగ్గరకు చేరినప్పుడే ఆవు పాలు ఇచ్చినట్లుగా, శిష్యుడు వినయంతో గురువును సమీపించి సేవించినప్పుడే గురువు సాటిలేని జ్ఞానామృతాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తాడు.

The Guru is like a cow and the disciple like a calf. Just as a cow yields milk only when the calf approaches it, the Guru bestows the incomparable nectar of wisdom only when the disciple approaches with humility and devotion.
