భావం · Meaning
కుండలోని నీటిలో ఆకాశం ప్రతిబింబిస్తుంది, కానీ కుండ పగిలితే లేదా నీరు ఇంకిపోతే ఆ ప్రతిబింబం మాయమై అసలు ఆకాశంలో కలిసిపోతుంది. అదే విధంగా, ఈ శరీరం (కుండ) అశాశ్వతమని, దానిలో ఉన్న ఆత్మ (జ్యోతి) శాశ్వతమని, అది పరమాత్మలో భాగమని మానవుడు క్రమంగా జ్ఞానం ద్వారా తెలుసుకోవాలి.
In English
Just as the vast sky is reflected in the water inside a pot, the universal soul is reflected within the human body. If the pot breaks or the water dries up, the reflection disappears, merging back into the real sky. Vemana urges us to gradually realize that the inner light (Atman) within our transient bodies is eternal and distinct from the physical vessel.
