చినుఁగు బట్ట కాదు చీనాంబరము గాని
ముఱికియొడలు గాదు ముక్తి గాని
పరమయోగిమహిమఁ బరికింప నరుదురా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

పైకి చినిగిన బట్టలు కట్టుకున్నాడని యోగిని చులకనగా చూడరాదు; ఆ చినిగిన బట్టలే పట్టు వస్త్రాలతో సమానం. శరీరం మురికిగా ఉందని అసహ్యించుకోరాదు; ఆ దేహమే మోక్షానికి నిలయం. బాహ్య వేషధారణను బట్టి కాకుండా, అంతర్గత ఆత్మజ్ఞానాన్ని బట్టి పరమయోగి గొప్పతనాన్ని గుర్తించడం సామాన్యులకు చాలా కష్టం.
In English
One should not judge a supreme Yogi by his external appearance. Though he may wear tattered rags, they are as valuable as fine silk; though his body may appear unwashed, it is the very vessel of liberation. It is rare and difficult for ordinary people to look beyond these external signs and recognize the true spiritual greatness of an enlightened soul.
