చూపుఁజూచి దెలియఁ జూచువారు
చూచి తాముచూపుచూపె తామగుదురు
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

సాధారణ దృష్టితో చూసేవారికి దేవుడు లేదా సత్యం తమకంటే వేరుగా కనిపిస్తుంది. కానీ ఎవరైతే తమ దృష్టిని అంతర్ముఖం చేసి, 'చూపు' అనగా ఆత్మజ్ఞానాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తారో, వారు ఆ పరమాత్మ తామేనని గ్రహించి, ఆ జ్ఞానస్వరూపంగానే మారిపోతారు. జీవాత్మ, పరమాత్మల అద్వైత స్థితిని ఈ పద్యం వివరిస్తుంది.

To the superficial observer, the divine reality appears separate from oneself (duality). However, those who investigate the nature of their own consciousness (the 'sight') realize that the observer and the observed are one. Upon this realization, the seeker merges with the divine, becoming the pure vision/consciousness itself (Advaita/Non-duality).
