చిత్తమనెడు దివ్వె నెన్నుపఱచి

పాపమనెడు తిమిర మేపాఱ పాపని

పాపజాతి గురుఁడు పశువు వేమా!

సూక్ష్మబుద్ధి అనే వత్తితో, చిత్తమనే దీపాన్ని వెలిగించి, పాపమనే అంధకారాన్ని పారద్రోలని గురువు గురువు కాజాలడు. అజ్ఞానాన్ని, పాపాన్ని తొలగించలేని ఆ గురువు కేవలం పశువుతో సమానమని వేమన భావము.
