నంటిన గుణములు హతమ్ముగాక
యతియుఁగాగనేల నవనిలో జీవుఁడు

శరీరానికి పుట్టుకతో వచ్చే మైలలు (జాతసూతకాలు) సహజంగానే ఉంటాయి. కానీ, మనసుకు అంటిపెట్టుకుని ఉన్న రాగద్వేషాలనే దుర్గుణాలను నశింపజేసుకోకుండా, కేవలం కాషాయం కట్టి సన్యాసిగా మారినంత మాత్రాన ప్రయోజనం లేదు. బాహ్య వేషధారణ కన్నా అంతఃశుద్ధి ముఖ్యమని భావం.
