జాతి, మతము విడిచి చని యోగికామేలు
జాతితో నెయున్న నీతివలదె
మతముబట్టి జాతి మానకుంట కొఱంత
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినుర వేమ!

కులమతాలను వదిలి యోగిగా మారడం మంచిదే, కానీ ఒకవేళ సంసారంలోనే (జాతితోనే) ఉంటే నీతిని తప్పక పాటించాలి. మతాన్ని లేదా సన్యాసాన్ని స్వీకరించి కూడా కులభేదాలను వదలకపోవడం ఆ వ్యక్తికి పెద్ద లోపం అవుతుంది. నిజమైన యోగికి కులమత పట్టింపులు ఉండకూడదు.
