తన మాయను సిద్ధులయినఁ దపముల మాయన్
తానెంతటి ఘనుఁడయినను
తనిసినవాఁడైన జూడ ధరలో వేమా!

మనిషి తన నిజమైన ఆత్మ స్వరూపాన్ని తెలుసుకోవాలనుకున్నప్పుడు, మాయ అతన్ని ఆవరిస్తుంది. సిద్ధులైన వారు కూడా తమ తపస్సులే గొప్పవని ఆ భ్రమలో చిక్కుకుంటారు. ఎంత గొప్పవాడైనా, 'నేను సాధించాను' అనే తృప్తి లేదా అహంకారం ఉన్నంత వరకు ఆ పరమ సత్యాన్ని దర్శించలేడు.
