తనదునీడఁ జూచి తన్ను మఱచి
పతిని ననుమ నుడువు భ్రాంతుల నేమందు
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

భావం · Meaning
ఒక పసిబిడ్డ తన నీడను చూసి, అది వేరే ఎవరో అనుకొని, అసలైన తనను తాను మరచిపోయినట్లుగా, అజ్ఞానులు మాయ (నీడ) వలలో పడి తమలోని పరమాత్మను (పతిని) గుర్తించక, దేవునిపై లేదా తమ భర్తపై అనుమానాలు పెంచుకుంటారు. నీడను చూసి భ్రమపడే బిడ్డలాంటిదే ఈ అవివేకం.

Just as a child looks at his own shadow, gets fascinated by it, and forgets his own reality, deluded people get caught up in the illusion of the world (Maya). In this confusion, they forget their true Self and cast doubts upon the Lord (or husband), failing to realize that the divinity they seek is within themselves, just as the shadow is an extension of the child.
