తనలోపల వెదుకలేక ధరవెదకెడు నీ
తనువుల మోసెడి యెద్దుల
మనములఁ దెల్పఁగ వశమె మహిలో వేమా!

భగవంతుడు లేదా పరమ సత్యం ప్రతి మనిషిలోనూ అంతర్లీనంగా ఉంటుంది. కానీ అజ్ఞానులు ఆ సత్యాన్ని తమలో చూసుకోలేక, బాహ్య ప్రపంచంలో తీర్థయాత్రలంటూ వెతుకుతుంటారు. కేవలం శరీరాన్ని మోస్తూ జీవించే ఇటువంటి అవివేకులు బరువు మోసే ఎద్దులతో సమానం; అటువంటి వారి మూర్ఖపు మనస్సులకు జ్ఞానోపదేశం చేయడం అసాధ్యమని వేమన భావం.
