మానవుడు తన శరీరమనే తిత్తిలో దేవుడు (శివుడు) స్థిరముగా ఉన్నాడని తెలుసుకోలేక, అజ్ఞానంతో పిచ్చివాడిలా బాహ్య ప్రపంచంలో వెతుకుతూ తిరుగుతున్నాడు. ఈ భ్రమను తొలగించి, అంతరాత్మను దర్శించే సరైన మార్గాన్ని చూపించడానికి గురువు ఒక్కడే దిక్కు.

Man wanders aimlessly like a madman, unaware that the Divine (Shiva) resides firmly within his own body (the skin bag). He searches outside in vain. Only a true Guru can dispel this confusion, cure the madness of ignorance, and show the path to realizing the divinity within.
