దొడ్డవారినెల్లఁ దొలఁగఁగొట్టు
చెప్పుతినెడికుక్క చెఱకుతీ పెఱుఁగునా
విశ్వదాభిరామ వినర వేమ!

నీచమైన బుద్ధి గలవానికి అధికారం ఇస్తే, వాడు తన అహంకారంతో సజ్జనులైన గొప్పవారినందరినీ తన దగ్గరి నుండి వెళ్లగొడతాడు. ఇది ఎట్లనగా, ఎప్పుడూ చెప్పులు కొరికే అలవాటున్న కుక్కకు చెరకులోని మాధుర్యం తెలియదు, దానికి ఆ చెప్పులే రుచిగా ఉంటాయి. అలాగే అల్పుడికి సజ్జనుల విలువ తెలియదు.
