సాధారణ జనులు దేవుడు కేవలం పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలలోనూ, దేవాలయాలలోనూ ఉంటాడని భావించి అక్కడికి వెళ్ళడమే ముక్తి మార్గమని అనుకుంటారు. కానీ జ్ఞాన దృష్టితో చూస్తే, ఈ అనంతమైన విశ్వమంతా ఆ పరమాత్మ స్వరూపమేనని, దేవుడు సర్వవ్యాపి అని అర్థమవుతుంది. విగ్రహారాధన కంటే విశ్వవ్యాప్తమైన దైవత్వాన్ని గుర్తించడం గొప్పదని భావం.
