Meaning
In English
When the soul is purified in the fire of knowledge, causing the body to tremble with the intensity of the transformation, one must suppress the delusion wallowing within that body. Realizing the Divine (Shiva) through this intense internal struggle is true liberation.
Modern relevance
This verse highlights that true personal growth and enlightenment are often accompanied by intense internal struggle and discomfort ('burning' and 'trembling'). It reminds us that overcoming deep-seated habits or delusions (Moha) requires facing this pain courageously to achieve a higher state of clarity and freedom.
