Meaning
In English
This verse expresses the state of total surrender (Saranagati) to the Divine. The poet declares that he has no independent will or action; his speech, existence, thoughts, and emotions are entirely dependent on and reflective of the Divine Will. It illustrates the non-dual realization where the devotee's ego is dissolved into the Supreme.
Modern relevance
In a modern world often driven by the stress of control and individual achievement, this poem offers the wisdom of 'letting go' and surrendering to a higher power or the natural flow of life. It suggests that true peace comes not from asserting one's ego, but from aligning oneself with the universal will, thereby reducing anxiety and finding harmony in acceptance.
