నరకులమునఁ దాని బెరిగి నరుఁడయ్యును దా
నరకులమును ఛీ ఛీ యని
హరకులమునఁ దిరిగెనేని హరుఁడగు వేమా!

మానవుడిగా పుట్టి, మానవులలోనే పెరిగి, తాను కూడా ఒక మానవుడై ఉండి, చివరికి ఆ మానవ జాతిని అసహ్యించుకుంటూ, తాను శివ సంబంధమైన కులములో (జంగమ కులం) తిరుగుతున్నానని చెప్పుకున్నంత మాత్రాన ఎవరూ శివుడు (దేవుడు) కాలేరు. పుట్టుకతో వచ్చిన సహజత్వాన్ని కాదని, వేషధారణతోనో, కులము పేరుతోనో గొప్పవారమని విర్రవీగడం వ్యర్థమని వేమన భావం.

Born as a human, growing up among humans, and being a human oneself, if one despises humanity and wanders about claiming to belong to the divine lineage of Hara (Shiva), one does not actually become Shiva.
