మానవులు నిత్యం ఈ శరీరాన్ని శుభ్రంగా కడిగి, రుద్ది, కడుపు నిండా తిండి పెట్టి, పైన మంచి బట్టలు కట్టి ఎంతో అపురూపంగా చూసుకుంటారు. కానీ చివరకు మట్టిలో కలిసిపోయే ఈ అశాశ్వతమైన శరీరం కోసం ఇంతగా కష్టపడటం ఎందుకు? ఆత్మజ్ఞానం వదిలి దేహారాధనలో మునిగిపోవడం వృథా అని వేమన భావం.
