ఓ వేమన! ఈ లోకంలో ఆత్మ (నీవు) మాత్రమే శాశ్వతమైనది, సత్యమైనది. కంటికి కనిపించే ఈ ప్రపంచమంతా ఎండమావిలోని నీటి వలె అశాశ్వతమైనది మరియు మాయాజాలం వంటిది. కాబట్టి ఆత్మ ఒక్కటే నిశ్చయమని, జగత్తు మిథ్య అని గ్రహించాలి.

O Vema! In this existence, You (the Self/Atman) are the only permanent reality and truth. The visible world is impermanent and illusory, appearing real only like water in a mirage. One must realize that the Self is the only certainty, while the material world is Maya (illusion).
