లోకంలో ఎవరు నిజంగా పుట్టినవారు? ఎవరు పుట్టనివారు? పుట్టి చనిపోయే ఈ మనుషుల స్వరూపం ఏమిటి? అని విచారిస్తే, శరీరం పుట్టినా ఆత్మకు పుట్టుక లేదని అర్థమవుతుంది. మనిషి ఈ లోకంలో పుట్టినప్పటికీ, ఆత్మజ్ఞానంతో 'పుట్టనివాని వలె' అంటే జనన మరణ చక్రానికి అతీతంగా, నిర్లిప్తంగా జీవించడమే నిజమైన జ్ఞానమని వేమన బోధిస్తున్నాడు.
In English
Vemana questions the nature of existence by asking who truly is born and who is not. While common people are caught in the cycle of birth and death, the wise one realizes that the true Self (Atma) is unborn and eternal.
