రాతి లింగాలను దొంగల వలె త్రాళ్ళతో బంధించి పూజించడం అవివేకమని వేమన ఎద్దేవా చేస్తున్నారు. లింగము ఏమి దొంగతనం చేసిందని అలా కట్టివేస్తున్నారు? బాహ్యమైన విగ్రహారాధన మాని, తనలో ఉన్న ఆత్మలింగాన్ని (పరమాత్మను) తెలుసుకొని పూజించడమే నిజమైన భక్తి అని దీని భావం.
